Comix is a user-friendly, customizable image viewer. It is specifically designed to handle
comic books, but also serves as a generic viewer. It reads images in ZIP, RAR or tar archives (also gzip or
bzip2 compressed) as well as plain image files. It is written in Python and uses GTK+ through
the PyGTK bindings.
[News] Comix 3.6.5 released - 2008-07-07
Version 3.6.5 includes some security fixes and some translations that should have been released a long time ago, my bad. Read more in the
changelog. Other non-critical changes will have to wait until Comix 4 is ready, since the old code base is being completely scrapped for that release (for good reasons). I take the opportunity here to apologise to everyone who have tried to contact me during the last year without getting any replies. I have been very busy and thus neglected some things that really did deserve attention, sorry.
